Privacy Policy

All document scanning and processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload your documents to our servers unless you explicitly choose to use a cloud synchronization feature. The text recognition (OCR) is also performed locally to guarantee maximum privacy.

To function properly, Scan PDF requires the following permissions:

  Camera Access: Required exclusively to capture images of your documents.
• check_circle
  Storage Access: Required to save your scanned PDFs and access existing images for import.

Files saved within the Scan PDF app are stored in a secure sandbox environment provided by your operating system. We offer options to password-protect your generated PDF files using standard encryption protocols before sharing them.

We use anonymous analytics services to understand how the app is used and to identify crashes. This data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you or your documents. You can opt out of this in the App Settings.

Because we do not store your data on our servers, you have full control over it. You can access, modify, or permanently delete any scanned document directly from within the app. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data associated with it.
